Make a difference…become a volunteer!

As a member-owned financial institution, Somerset Federal Credit Union relies on member volunteers. Volunteers ensure financial soundness and guide strategic and policy decisions in a wide variety of areas.

By becoming an SFCU volunteer, you can help us continue to grow and respond to members’ needs. Volunteering also provides an exciting opportunity to learn, develop business and leadership skills, and network with others. Volunteers are an integral part of SFCU’s success.

Committee members are appointed by the SFCU Board of Directors on an annual basis.

Knowledge and Skills Required

Membership in good standing with SFCU.

At least 18 years of age.

Available for monthly and occasional special meetings.

Willing to attend planning sessions and training programs at the Credit Union.

Not an employee, a relative or a family member of or in a significant relationship with an SFCU employee, Director, or Supervisory Committee member.

Willing to work with a team in support of the Credit Union’s mission and desire to better the financial lives of our members.
